Debutant director Vidyadhar Rao Kagita has made this film at an estimated cost of Rs 24 crore. Trade sources have revealed that the pre-release business of this film was Rs 11 crore. Gami started its box office journey with a break-even target of Rs 12 crore. This film was released on about 1000 screens worldwide.

The film has been released on more than 600 screens in Andhra and Telangana, on more than 150 screens in other states and on 200 screens abroad. This adventure film, which is a thriller with an emotional point, created a huge buzz before its release. As a result, better occupancy was recorded on the first day. The occupancy of this film was 45 to 50 percent on the first day.

This made it possible to record the best collection in Vishwak Sen's career. On the second day also the film can register a strong occupancy of 40 percent. Gami's film earned record on the first day.

If we look at the foreign premiere and first day collection of this film, the film unit said that this film has collected approximately 300K US dollars i.e. Rs 2.5 crore.

The film has collected around Rs 4.5 crore nett in Telugu states. With this the film recorded a net collection of Rs 7 crore and a gross collection of Rs 9.07 crore.

Talking about the break even of Gami, if this film earns Rs 11 crore then it is likely to come in the profit zone. This film has so far made a net collection of Rs 7 crore. But how much share remains to be known. In such a situation, sources believe that this film can break big records in the first week itself.
